Organised yearly by IFMSA-Québec, the Global Health Colloquium brings together experts, students and members of the public for a weekend of presentations and workshops focusing on global health. This year, the GHC is organized in collaboration with the Indigenous Health Interest group at the University of Montreal. Throughout the day participants will be invited to explore various aspects of Indigenous health such as historical context, cultural competency, current legislation, and more.

Bernard Roy
Mr. Roy is a professor with the Nursing Sciences Faculty at the University of Laval, where he teaches the fundamental approaches of nursing in the context community health. |
Dr Éric Contant
Dr. Contant is a specialist in Emergency Medicine, as well as an adventurer and explorer, working in Northern Quebec, Northern Ontario, and the Yukon. |
Pierre S. Haddad
Dr. Haddad is a researcher at the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Montreal where he leads a team investigating traditional medicines. Currently, he is researching the anti-diabetic properties of certain traditional Indigenous medicines. |
